Drift School

Full Lock Drift is proud to present to you our Drift School! If you have ever been interested in drifting and wanted some one-on-one instruction then this is for you! Spots are limited so act fast. You will be paired up with one of our instructors to learn the dynamics of your car. We will gauge your skill level and offer you in-car feedback! Your day will start out with some simple classroom instruction and a meet and greet with your instructor. Then we will move on to your vehicle and see what modifications (if any) you have. Everyone has different skill levels and machinery so we need to get a feel of what you’re working with. Once everything has been assessed and you’ve had time to chat with your instructor, you will be put on the skidpad. The skidpad will be watered down to help snap that rear end loose and save some tires. You will be taught the basics, such as drifting around a cone. Then gradually move up to figure 8’s and finally transitions. This event is NOT open to the public so there will be no spectators allowed on the skidpad. You will be allowed a plus 1 (not including children) to help out as a pit crew. This is your opportunity to learn very basic instructions and receive instant feedback in your car! Here's a small list of items we recommend bringing ...

- Canopy - Cooler with drinks - Snacks - Sunscreen - Extra set of wheels and tires (if you think you'll need them) - Jack/Jack stands - Tools - Full tank of gas (there is a gas station about 1/2 mile away) - Helmet (required) - A towel would be advisable if you don't have A/C in your car. - Wheel locks if you have special/security lug nuts
